A boy in my class saw me practicing once (I like to go into open but empty classrooms to practice) and asked me if I was doing Riverdance. I told him no, I'm Irish Dancing. He said "isn't that the same thing?" and so I replied "no, but it is kinda a form of Irish dance. Like a square vs rectangle.". He mumbled an excuse to leave and left the classroom.

Well, I'm not an Irish dancer but I always think it's funny when I tell people I'm an artist and they say, "Oh wow! I can't even draw a straight line!". Um, neither can I. Well at least not without a ruler.

YES! If we're all brave enough to wear much more mature styles, soon these big boomfy wigs and princess style dresses will be a thing of the past.
