Comments on: Treble & Slip Jig or Hornpipe & Reel?

I like Reel and Heavy (Treble) Jig best. I don't know my slip jig at all since I was off when we finished learning it and I'm supposed to be getting a new Hornpipe since I can't do mine, so if there was a combo of Reel and Heavy Jig that'd be the one for me!

Definitely a fan of jigs. I've always done much better at feis's doing jig. I love pounding out a treble jig and then flowing gracefully to a slip jig. Lets see how many times I can write jig in one paragraph! lol

That's cool, sounds like at some point since then they decided to pair up the soft dances to the hard dances, rather than just mixing whatever like at feiseanna.

I prefer SJ and HP, that was an option about 7 years ago… oh how I loved it I guess overall I like Reel/Hornpipe better that Slip Jig/Treble Jig because I am not a fan of the treble jig at all
