Fans of the film ‘Once’ and the growing numbers around the world who have enjoyed the music of the Swell Season will be delighted to hear a new album is on the way.  Featuring on and off couple Irish man Glen Hansard and Czech lady Marketa Irglova, the band will release ‘Strict Joy’ on October 23rd.

The couple have provided fans with an almost biographical experience in their art.  And thankfully, this new album continues in this tradition. “For me, it’s just an audio diary … It’s just another installment of the life we lead,” Hansard has said of the upcoming release.
